Warm Pumpkin Nest

Aww Petra, this is so cute!!! So cozy and sweet!♥️              
Can you describe your techniques please?

It's Autumn.I present you this cozy warm mouse nest inside pumpkin.

Again I choose Julia’s cookie dough for my contoured "cylinder pumpkin" cutted,baked on stainlees steel rings 2 half cylinder,covered -iced wih fluid royal icing dried in oven,airbrushed with orange colour,again for a bit in oven dried and finally stenciled with maroon brown colour and glued togeter,brushed with light yellow icing from insideI create also royal icing foliage,then just coloured with brush.Also the small pumpkin inside is from stiff royal icing,shaped just with toothpick and airbrushed,the dry stalk is from waferpaper.Mouse made from sugarpaste and the blanket is edible lace.

I loved to create this project for this challenge.Hope you like it too!

Aww, Petra, what a cute fall scene! Love the image of the cookie on your hand next to the pomegranate. Your cylinder cookies look perfect, you surely have mastered Julia’s technique! I love every detail, especially the little mouse tucked under the lace blanket. Thanks again for your participation and for the step by step pictures.
