Purple, My Favorite Color!

These cookies were made as a surprise gift. (I love making cookies for someone who has no idea she will be receiving them .) Many thanks to Manu @Manu biscotti decorati who showed how to make the loop petal flowers in one of her tutorials. Such a fun and creative technique!!

The orange fondant flowers were made using the same technique as the loop flowers (i.e. cutting out the petals and laying them face down on a curved surface so they would dry with the curved shape).

The piped butterfly was a template I had and added more intricacy to it so that all piped lines connected to other piped lines. Then I piped over the butterfly 3 times for sturdiness.

My girlfriend was very surprised ❤️.  How fun, right?!
