Royal Icing Flowers

Flower plaques are the rage this season and I haven’t even 1 so this was a wonderful opportunity to get out some of my inner flower!
The flowers were piped with Wilton 103-104 and 80 tips. The leaves with a 102.
I recently watched a IGTV of Kristen’s Cookies creating this look and definitely not an exact copy but I like the spin I put on it.

Your flowers are beautifully piped. Can you tell us a bit more about why you chose this shape and how you came up with your floral design?

I actually did a second shape but wasn’t happy with my work so it got eaten😂!
Florals are everywhere this season. Every design has added a floral element. What are flowers without leaves? All the spikes and offshoots to the design gave my leaves a place to be created. I honestly don’t own any floral plaques so it’s the first thing I saw in this design.  After seeing Kristen’s floral video I got ideas and created these.
My designs are done freehand and from my head. I roughly sketched out a design just not to forget my thoughts.
