We were asked by lovely @roosbakt and @moonduststencils to cookify our favourite book or story.
🐍
I’ve chosen story of Shahmaran who is a mythical creature, half woman half snake, found with different variations of the folklore of Anatolia, Iran and Iraq.
🐍
She is considered to be the queen of the serpents who knew many secrets of the history of mankind, had eternal life and deep wisdom.
🐍
Many versions of the story of Shahmaran are found in fictional books including the J.C. Mardrus translation of Arabian Night Tales as the story of “Jemlia-The Sultan of Underground”.
🐍
If you would like to read the all story, there is a good version here ➡️ http://anatolianstories.blogsp...nd-mythical.html?m=1
