Today I went with my dog for a walk and I saw nice flowers thought will be beautiful in stained glass from isomalt and what more romantic as heart shape gingerbread frame, only those white flowers with hot isomalt didn't reacted well,so I took them from out quickly as you can see in following photos I used heart metal cookie cutter to fill with hot melted Isomalt, have already before my real flowers and leaves situated in the cutter on silicone mat sheet without texture, exactly in the moment I finished with hot isomalt with toothpick inserted a bit of yellow and then orange gel color straight inside circular way. When cool down carefully pressed out from cutter,I used also hot hair dryer becouse I wanted borders of isomalt heart to be one with gingerbread heart frame,I create 2 isomalt green leaves and piped royal icing flower just as deco,on the end I try to make something like crackle effect on stained glass, but to be honest I like it without
What I learned today is that some real flowers lost shape and color if you pour it with hot somalt,so not all are ideal, and most important to work with isomalt means quickly and certainly safely,in case you want use your isomalt result later keep it in dry place covered❤️To make it again shiny and clear use flame burner for a sec
Oh Petra, what a colorful, beautiful glow through your cookie heart!! I love the colors and the flowers included. This is how you captured the beautiful day for (almost) always!❤️😘@Petra Florean

Thank you dear Gabi for your kind words and so positive vibes, many thanks ❤️❤️🤗hugs
Your stained glass design is stunning! Adding real flowers was a very creative idea - especially since there are in fact edible flowers that can be used (or non-edible ones for keepsake cookies). I also like how the addition of the royal icing flower and isomalt leaves adds dimension and interest. Thank you for explaining the process and what you learned.
