Eveline, this is really beautiful. I do not have any knowledge of isomalt (candy). If you do not mind, may I ask how you colored the candy? Do you make colored candy or do you paint candy? I do not even know whether candy can be painted after all.
Once I tried to clear isomalt candy and I dropped some water on it and the candy got all cloudy. So I think painting the candy with water is all wrong. Right?
So gorgeous! Are the gold lines floating above the picture? I see a shadow.
Thank you Christine! It is like they are floating but it is not, I think it is an effect due to the clearness of isomalt and strong light above it while taking the picture!

Thank you Ryoko for liking it! I have painted directly on clear isomalt with Americolor gels, very few water indeed. The surface has become a little bit sticky after the painting was finished so, I sprayed a flood glazing spray to make it glossy and dry

Evelin, this is totally amazing!! I'm utterly blown away how much this cookie looks like transparent glass ... how do you do it time after time???? (Inquiring minds want to know ). Again, your attention to detail is your signature. Love it!!!

Dear Carol, the 'transparent glass' you see is clear isomalt, handpainted and framed in a cookie frame. So happy you like it! ❤️
