I wish everyone a nice and not too stressful Advent season. I continued decorating my Christmas cookies. I still have Frosted Leaves. I enjoy working with different media. What I used is easier to see in the attached picture:
Wow Gabi, sooo many textures and medias! I love the lace bells, how did you make them, they are absolutely stunning.
Congratulations, dear friend. Awesome work ♥️
Aww... my dear Heather, Thanks sooo much for your kind words!! 😘 @Heather Bruce Sosa
The lace bells were a spontaneous idea when I looked at my round Flexi Ice lace. I originally wanted to create a bow out of it, but then decided on the more difficult version and made the bells out of it. The round Flexi Ice lace was still very fresh and therefore very elastic! For a loop that wouldn't have been so bad. It could have “laid down”. But the bells had to hold their shape and so I put them on a tube with a diameter of 1.5 cm for two days and let them dry. After that they stopped elastic and I was able to continue working. The bells themselves are each half a Flexi Ice tip shaped into a cone and pressed together at the “seam”. I didn't have to glue anything extra! The cut edge was still wet and sticky enough to hold together well. I was very amazed! It only became more difficult with the bell clapper. It consists of a white painted sphagetti and a sugar pearl! First I assembled the clapper and then stuck it into the bell with icing and fixed it until it was dry. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of it because it was a spontaneous idea... I have attached a picture where you can look into the bells and a picture of the lace. The photos were a disaster due to the strong contrast! Using flash made the white look way too bright and taking photos in daylight without flash didn't do anything good either, as it's very cold and especially dark here during the day at the moment. My good camera was not ready for use!! So I had to make the best of it and the pictures are all a bit underexposed as a result. It bothers me, but there was no other way...
As always my dear Gabi @Icingsugarkeks, you've created the most gorgeous cookies! Thank you so very much for all the wonderful detail about how you made each and every cookie; complete with the media and techniques used. It's impossible for me to choose a favorite from among these beauties. They're all uniquely beautiful!! How fun to include ornaments and bells along with pom poms under a bow . Love them all my sweet friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Wow!!! You amaze me, dear Gabi @Icingsugarkeks!!! How creative to use lace for creating a bell shape. I can definitely see how it was challenging to keep the round shape of the bells while the lace dried. And the spaghetti with dragee for the clapper?! Perfection my dear!!! Awesome work my sweet friend ❤️❤️❤️ 1000s Hugs...
