Thanks Anne Marie, nowadays carnations do not smell at all. In fact, they have a lovely smell. I always remember the carnation that was given to me by my boy friend when I was a teenager. He had picked it up secretly from his mother's garden. A lovely red, big carnation, I can still smell it...
