For this challange, I turned the lights down and "painted" RI white on white with my pre-flooded cookies. I tried to get many layers to give the depth that a painted landscape would give. Very fun landscapes! Loved the way they came out. Not perfect but My fly fishing husband said I nailed it and he's my toughest critic when it comes to all things trout or fly fishing. Thanks for the challange Christine!
I think these are really beautiful, Kim. the texture and dimensions are great. Tell us, when you say "painted," do you mean you literally painted with royal icing on a paint brush? And if so, did you thin your royal icing? In short - how did you do it?!

Thank you so much! Yes. For some of the layers I thinned down more (back ground), and for the foreground I used thicker RI. Also, When I say "painted" I did use a brush, but also, I behaved as a painter and did the back ground (sky and clouds) first then when dry, added the middle ground (mountains) then moving forward (when dry) doing lake, reflections, and (lastly) the foreground of twigs and trees.
