Hey, gang! We've got some great chats scheduled for July and August, so please plan to attend or post your questions in advance.

The first one is a two-hour Sweet Sharing chat (July 17, 9 am CDT), focused on perfecting your color palette, with one of Cookie Connection's crowd favorites - mintlemonade aka Cookie Crumbs, or in, real life, Noriko Forster.

Noriko, who hails from Tokyo, Japan, is a relative newcomer to cookie decorating, having iced her first cookie in 2012. But she's quickly grabbed the attention of our membership and other cookiers across the globe with her always sophisticated color schemes  - not to mention her beautifully piped flowers and birds. But, on July 17, her subject is color - what food coloring she uses, how she selects color schemes for her sets, how she mixes those colors to subtle perfection . . . you get the drift! We'll, of course, also want to quiz her about her two cookie names!

Please note that this chat is on a Sunday and starts one hour earlier than usual to account for the time difference to Japan, and to still allow our dominantly US-based membership to participate. (BTW, a huge thanks to Noriko for agreeing to chat for two hours at 11 pm her time on a Sunday! Wow, that's dedication to our community!)

You can read more about Noriko by clicking on the "i" icon next to her chat title, here. You can also log questions in advance starting now - again, just click here for her chat room.

Our second chat (August 27, 10 am CDT) is the last in my series of chats with 2015 Cookiers' Choice Awards finalists we haven't ever live-chatted with yet! And our ultimate guest is none other than super-popular Cookie Connection blogger Aixa Zunino, who is also the creative force behind Dolce Sentire(When I say she's popular, I mean it! Her recent dimensional rose tutorial hit a record for Cookie Connection, with over 6,000 views in less than 24 hours!)  If you aren't familiar with Aixa's regular Get Inspired with Dolce Sentire  blog feature, please check out her wonderful past posts here

Aixa does a whole host of cookie things, including teaching in-person classes, conducting online classes (here's a link to one of her latest), and maintaining a lovely blog full of cookie eye candy. She's also known for mixing myriad crafting techniques (think stamping, stenciling, paper cut-outs, and painting) to create her distinctive shabby chic style. And, even better, she's open to addressing any of these topics - and more - in this chat!

To learn more about Aixa prior to the chat, please review her Cookie Connection contributor's bio here or click on the "i" icon next to her chat title, here. Her chat room is also open to receive advance questions now.

Tina of Sugar Wishes (and also our able and hardworking Sweet Sharing chat moderator) and I hope to "see" you at these chats!

YEAH! That's great news!

As I will most likely not make the live chats, I have already posted my questions. It's great that we can do this in advance.

Thanks, Noriko and Aixa, for sharing your experience with us, thanks Tina for moderating the chats, and thanks Julia, for binding all threads together

Thank you Julia and Tina for organizing this! I'm excited as well as nervous because of my English ability. Anyway I believe it'll be a great experience to me.

Thank you Laegwen for posting your question in advance! It is very helpful!

Well, from the sounds of this post, I doubt you'll have any trouble with your English! It will be fun to learn more about you - and thanks again for agreeing to chat at such a late hour for you!
