I am sure you know our December artist, because it isn't the first time she's been featured in this way (the last time was in April 2022). What's more, her cookies are a familiar sight in our home page photo feeds, where she recently posted some Christmas cookies that are just as gorgeous as the ones featured in this month's banner and backdrop, now gracing the site and also shown here:
Yes, our December artist is none other than @Bożena Aleksandrow who's known widely on Cookie Connection and social media for her pristinely flooded and intricately piped cookies. And this month's featured cookies are certainly no exception! Aren't they just stunning?! Thank you once again, Bożena, for decking the Cookie Connection "halls" with your spectacular cookies!
Of course, thanks also go to our Site Art Stylist, @Icingsugarkeks aka Gabi, who worked her magic yet again, skillfully combining various photos by Bożena into this very cohesive and festive display. I am especially charmed by the animated, blinking sugar beads that Gabi added to the header image. They perfectly mimic flashing Christmas tree lights!

@Bożena Aleksandrow is a passionate hobbyist cookie decorator from Warsaw, Poland. In 2014, she started her decorating adventure, which, at the time, was a type of therapy for her in the course of life. Bożena also likes to decorate cakes for her friends and family. Her beginnings in decorating were not easy, and her first works were not delightful. However, Bożena did not get discouraged; instead she persisted and improved her technique. She did not take any courses, but, through trial and error, she became more skilled, confident, and professional. Bożena specializes in lace and floral styles, but she is familiar with other techniques, such as the decoration of 3-D cookies. She is also constantly developing her skills by watching the work of Julia M. Usher and others in the Cookie Connection community. Each work she creates gives her and others great joy and satisfaction. These successes motivate her to take up new challenges. Her family and fans on her Facebook page, Piernikowy Zawrót Głowy, are a great support to her endeavors.

Remember: Site artists not only get their work featured prominently for a full month, but they also get profiled in a forum post like this one and in an in-depth Cookier Close-up interview.
