Hello,

Next month I will be making holiday cookies to ship to the troops through Operation Cookie Takeover. My question is, do you think it will be safe to add a candy such as a chocolate kiss to the cookie.  I wouldn't have done it in the summer as I'm sure the chocolate would melt.  Do you all think this time of year would be cool enough to ship overseas?

Thank you.

Where are they going? If you Google the temperature there, it should give you a pretty good idea of how they'll hold up. The melting point of chocolate varies, but it can be as low as mid-80 degrees F.
