A huge credit goes to Wendy Kromer, wendy_kromer_confections on Instagram, and https://www.wendykromer.com/wedding-cakes-1, #wendy_kromer_confections, whose Lambeth Method piping was the source of my "education" about Lambeth Method piping. She's truly an amazing cake and cookie artist!
I was totally intrigued by the Challenge for Lambeth Method Piping. At the time I was totally intimidated at the prospect of trying to create all those elegant layers. This was my opportunity to once again challenge myself . And what a perfect time, too, as we bid a fond farewell to Christine @Bakerloo Station and welcome Christine @Sweet Prodigy
I absolutely loved Julia's idea to create a CC quilt @Julia M. Usher ❤️
One of the reasons I chose to make my square cookie using the Lambeth piping method is because we are a community that grows together. It's like layers upon layers of learned techniques, shared ideas, awesome tutorials, help from one another in times of need (I've definitely taken advantage of the forums and hope you have as well...they're absolutely wonderful!!) and best of all warm friendships that are continually emerging and growing as we share the same passion for the art of cookie decorating.
I've attached some more views of this cookie so that you have a better idea of the layering I used in creating this fun cookie Hugs to my CC family ❤️❤️❤️

I love your explanation/motivation! And, Wendy Kromer is indeed great - she used to do (maybe still does) all the wedding cake styling for Martha Stewart Weddings magazine (back when people still read magazines).
P.S. The challenge idea was not mine - they never are. This one was Christine Donnelly's as always.

Thanks so much for the clarification...my apologies dear Christine as you have been an amazing creator of all the challenges! Thank YOU @Bakerloo Station
I decided to post the cropped "square" picture in the main clip area when I uploaded it. I hope this was what the rules dictated .

Yes, we want the primary image to be square so we can easily download them all and not have to crop them. Thanks!
Wanted to try this Lambeth method piping so many time, such a wonderful job dear Carol 👏👏👏❤️
Hi Petra @Petra Florean! It's so sweet of you to comment my dear . This turned out to be harder than I thought it would be. That's one of the reasons why I've never tried it before. The actual cookie turned out pretty well and I was happy with it. Of course it was really difficult to get a square picture of it and the photo here turned out pretty bad....I did get a fairly good picture of the cookie that is shown in the attachment pictures along with the different views of Lambeth piping.
I was pretty sure that my finished picture wasn't what Christine and Julia were looking for as a final product which is why I posted this cropped, square picture. Didn't know if they wanted my logo in the picture either so I left it off.
I hope you give it a try!!! It's a lot of fun but very, very time consuming!!! Thanks again for taking a look and for commenting. You're always so very kind and sweet dear Petra ❤️❤️❤️
What a wonderful entry, Lambeth method piping can definitely be one of the more intimidating techniques, but you did a wonderful job of it. I love how you have layered and designed it. It's a perfect representation of the Cookie Connection community. ❤️
Beautiful! Now whenever I will see a Lambeth work I will think of the CC community that grows together, layer after layer... 💙
Thank you so very much for your kind comment Manu @Manu biscotti decorati!! I love this community of cookiers... Such wonderful talent, generosity, respect and kindness. What a joy it is to be a part of CC ❤

Oh thank you so much dear Christine @Sweet Prodigy!! Yes, I couldn't agree more about the challenges when trying to pipe using the Lambeth method. It's classic, gorgeous and so very elegant. I have MUCH to learn but am glad I tried to do it ❤❤❤
Thank you Nikki!! Sometimes I wonder if people read what I write and look at the extra photos . This was much harder to do than it looks that's for sure...I'll try it again sometime though @Nikki Carriere ❤️
What a wonderful sentiment, dear Carol @Cookies Fantastique ❤️❤️❤️! And wow! You sure have mastered that Lambeth method now ! Amazing!!!
Oh thank you so much dear Sonja @iSugarfy (aka swissophie). Your kindness always means so much to me 😊. I doubt that I'll do much piping using the Lambeth method. It seems much more appropriate for cake decorating. I'm really looking forward to seeing your next masterpiece my dear friend. Hugs... ❤❤❤
