A small touch of vintage

This is my last contribution to this challenge.
I chose this picture as the "main picture" because it best reproduces the character "Vintage" and was also photographed without flash. More pictures of these cookies are attached.

The glove and the cookies under the flowers are from honeydough.
The lace pattern on the cookies is embossed and the cookie directly painted with white to receive the vintage look. The Flowers and leaves additionally hand-painted. That makes it look more natural. (one more step, that is missing from my first post!)

Flower types:
roses, lilie, water lilie
(partially handpainted)

Media:
Roses are made from homemade, colored gumpaste
lilie and water lilie are from a mixture of gumpaste and Fondant (2:1)
You can recognize it again by the hold of the flowers ... The water lily was once closed and the lily was much further ... 😐
most of the leaves are made from homemade gumpaste
single leaves of roses are made from Fondant (bought), it is the darker, slightly blurred leaves

glove: honeydough, designed with edible lace and a little bit gumpaste (bow), handpainted on the cookie with wilton White and then immediately powdered with a little cornstarch so that the white does not roll off. When everything was dry, I removed the cornstarch with a soft brush. So the white also became solid!

My inspiration in this case was the white glove that I wanted to associate with a rose. I designed the "rest" so that all conditions for the challenge are met. I had a lot of fun, although the glove cookie to my glove drawing is worlds apart ...! 🤣 It has become too plump. Next time I'll leave it flat and won't shape it anymore !!
Sorry, since it was very hot at the time I made these cookies, I am missing the photos of the manufacturing process here too.

All in all, it was a very nice challenge again, where I tried out a lot of new things and was able to learn. 👍🏻

Oh my gosh!!! So, when you think that Gabi placed all her cookies on the table... she surprises with her masterpiece!!

This is just so beautiful, dear friend!!! The orange roses with the textured base is such a lovely contrast. Every other flower is equally beautiful. Congratulations, dear friend! You did amazing!🥰

Oh my dear Heather, you put a smile on my face again ...
So many Thanks for your lovely words!! You know, I really appreciate it so very much !!! I'm also pleased that you like the photo! I had thought for a long time because it doesn't show everything clearly. But that's exactly what I liked about it too! I love all my son's dreamy photos! Thanks again dear Heather !!! ❤️😘❤️🤗  @Heather Bruce Sosa

I love how there are so many great elements in your entry that give your cookies a wonderful vintage feel. Your flowers are gorgeous and crafted so beautifully. And your color selection is so perfectly suited to your theme. Very nicely done!

Oh WOW Gabi, this is absolutely fabulous work, as always @Icingsugarkeks . The glove on the hand is such a great idea. So unique, especially with the lace "glove" on it. It's really gorgeous. The flowers look so real, Gabi!! You clearly put a lot of time and work into creating these gorgeous flowers. I love how you embossed the cookies and then painted the white onto the embossing for the vintage look. You definitely achieved that look and feel!!!

Thank you for all the close up pics, too. It always helps to see the tiny detail of the work you put into each of the flowers. So much painting and forming of the petals and leaves. You said that you made home made gumpaste??? How did you do that? And what is honey dough? I'm not familiar with it.

Love each and every part of your cookie project my dear cookie friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Oh Carol, your wonderful comments always... You always bring a smile to my face! Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed comment! The hugs go back to you sincerely!
I found the homemade gumpaste in a German-language video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nZs2z2KoPA
Is very easy to make with an egg white (40 g), 225g powdered sugar, 4 teaspoons CMC (cellulose gum) and a pinch of salt.
I now always use the honey dough when I need cookies that look exactly the same after baking and do not lose their shape! I have the recipe from "pippa_rostov" on Instagram. Depending on what I need for dough, I add cocoa and gingerbread spice to the recipe. Thanks again!! ❤️😘❤️  @Cookies Fantastique
