It was fun to try many things for imprint but I crossed my fingers for outcomes. And I am still trying with fondant emboss sheet made of plastic but somehow it doesn't work for me.... still curious 😄
Love the curiosity Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.!! It usually leads to wonderful creativity. I've seen you grow as a cookie artist in so many ways my dear. This is another example of that growth . You amaze me in that you're never afraid to try something new. It takes courage to get out of your comfort zone to do that. And I've seen this courage from you time and time again. I just love your work my dear cookie friend ❤️❤️❤️ Lots of Hugs...
What amazing work dear Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.!! I love how you created the different textures on each of the cookies. Your creativity continues to inspire and impress me. What a great idea to use the embosser for the dress. It works great and looks perfect. Thank you again for all the pictures of the process and the recap of how the work went all along the way . You're awesome my dear friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

This is such a fantastic entry. I like how everything was done with intention and purpose. Each texture and texturing technique is perfectly suited to its use - especially the toothbrush used on the toothpaste consistency icing. 😄 It would be hard to pick a favorite cookie since they're all so interesting and well done but I especially like the marbling of the tie-dye T-shirt.
Hi @Sweet Prodigy Thank you. See? My favorite one is tie-dye T-shirt, too. It looks just like the one right after taking out the threads, very wrinkled.
Plastic containers for food to take out, wrapper for candies, very thin aluminum foil can be detailed imprint...... these can emboss.... I still wonder.
Actually I have tried woven bag that I made with corrugate craft tape, knitted things.. they didn't work at that time but maybe if the consistency of icing and thickness of plastic sheet for food are right, they could come out O.K.
Oh , excuse me, I need to confess, my favorite part was toothpaste consistency icing and toothbrush. 🤣😂 I keep telling myself, "this is a brand new toothbrush" and that made me smile.
Awwww... Ryoko, that is soooo cute and a absolutely gorgeous idea!! The sun, the dress and the trees - all different pattern!! Simply beautiful dear Ryoko!! ❤️@Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.
Hi Gabi there! Thank you @Icingsugarkeks My favorite one was tie-dye T-shirt, that reminds me the class to make some tie-dye cotton fabric when I was kid. It was very wrinkled. All kids say "wow"! and our fingers got blue colors.... good old days, hey I am getting old to think back?
I love how you didn't just try the technique in one abstract way, but wove different ones into the fabric of the story told with the cookies - with each technique specifically selected to best express each item. Well done!
Thank you @Julia M. Usher I am curious and wonder how to imprint with things that are not made of silicon. Some people did with plastic texture sheet (for fondant) but it didn't work for me..... maybe the thickness and the size of icing???
Probably I try with left-over icing.... I still want to make pebbles, garden fence and some flowers.... I just cannot reach how but soooo curious.
