Dear Christine, I actually made a speed video of it. I am going to edit it again, it is almost 6 minutes long, too long for us to enjoy and I will post it here, because it took me about one hour to paint and do the hand pipping. Because of the video, I couldn't take pictures of the process.

It was a last minute, desperate plan B, because my other stained glass cookie was a spectacular failure, like "Nailed It" from Pinterest. More than one week of work and it was one of my biggest desasters. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I had just a few hours to bake, rest, flood and decorate a cookie.😱😱😱🤯

So, I got inspired by 50's wallpaper pictures,  I traced it first, than used gel food colors to paint. I used white food colors on the white flower for it to pop.

I decided to go the oposite, instead of doing it in black, for two reasons: I wanted to part from tradicion and use white insted, and I wanted to pull the attention to the flowers.

The other thing was time, it was aproaching very late evening and waiting for the black royal icing to rest was not an opition. I am up at 5 everyday, so....🤪🤪🤪😵😵😵

The bag was cut about  tip number one.

I really liked the result!

Thank your for ALL of that information. I am no stranger to failure (or learning experiences, as I like to call them 😄), so I completely understand. That is great that you made a video, looking forward to seeing it. The white definitely accentuates the flowers and really makes the colors pop. Nice work!
