These turned out so lovely! I love the stencil use on the middle pot. I honestly never thought to use stencils in this way…I will be looking at them in a different light now, thank you for the inspiration!

FYI - I had mixed success with the stencils, gave up on one design completely after three unsuccessful tries at removing stencil without damaging the pattern.
These look amazing! There's such a wonderful "earthy" feel with these cookies. You've really managed to combine the textures, tones, and design so harmoniously. The soft pink color balances the shade of green perfectly. It looks as though this was put together so effortlessly. Did you have any challenges along the way?

Thank you @Sweet Prodigy for this beautiful comment! Yes, I was certainly challenged! Originally 2 crates were going to be stenciled, and the third was going to be imprinted with horizontal straws to make a ripple effect. But after repeated tries of lifting the other stencil off and damaging the pattern, I cried uncle, and the icing under the straws never dried, so I abandoned this as well. Also, the inverted umbrella imprint on the dark green leaves had to be redone because many were pressed to deep and left holes in the middle or were to fragile to handle. The rosette buttons were a happy surprise, these were done on plastic texture mat with pink scraped over first to fill in gaps and green overlaid. But first time around I used flood consistency icing, and while the coloring was pretty, the mixture once dried left a spongy aerated look that was also too fragile to handle. Second time around I used thicker icing.

Thank you for all of that information. It's good to know what works and what may not necessarily work. It also shows the extra work that goes into cookie decorating that many people are not always aware of.
Oh I just love these @Virago!! The pots are so creative and unique. I particularly like the center one with the texture of wood. The color of your succulents are spot on. I live in the AZ desert so I'm used to seeing lots of cacti and these are great . Your work is always beautiful and you continue to make incredible cookie art ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...
