I was once told by a cookier that I admired that I had a monotonous color palette. Since then and a Practice Bakes Perfect challenge on color ,I try to be aware of my color schemes. But to me Red and Green are the most traditional Xmas colors.

Yes, to me are the Christmas colors as well. I already made a Christmas set in red and green but  I couldn’t catch the right light and my colors turned out dull.

I did a few quick Halloween cookies in the states for my sister’s students. My son’s birthday is Halloween so you’d think I’d have more love of it but I really don’t!  Give me snowmen and Santas all day and I feel magical!

I’m actually redoing most of them as I work on the Step by Step sheets. It’s amazing how we pick up all our mistakes and find easier ways the second time around.
