United Flowers of America

Happy Independence Day to the United States of America, my adopted home. The idea for this cookie came when I was doing the Practice Makes Perfect challenge #41.

All the flowers on this cookie are edible. The stamens are thin spaghetti. Basic cutters and round cutters were used to cut most of the flower petals. I love making gum paste flowers and I challenged myself to makes these fifty types of flowers most of which I have never made before. These fifty state flowers make America unique and diverse just like its people and its values. Blessed to be an American.
