Say Hi to Our December Site Artist!

This month we're featuring the impeccable winter woodland-themed work of Cookie Connection member @Ewa Kiszowara MOJE PIERNIKI. I just love its cheery Christmas notes, richness of tones, and various textures - not to mention the twinkling lights that Site Art Stylist @Icingsugarkeks superimposed on top of the banner!

Now, on to Ewa! She joined Cookie Connection in January 2017, and her finely detailed work has been featured in multiple Saturday Spotlights ever since. Later in January 2021, I'll be doing an in-depth Cookier Close-up interview with Ewa, as I do with all featured site artists. Ewa Kiszowara comes from Poland, and has been running the blog Moje Pierniki for six years. She worked as a teacher for 35 years and now spends all of her time decorating cookies. Cookie decorating is her passion and love. She conducts cookie training sessions, workshops, and shows. Together with her son, she runs the Academy of Tradition, where they teach young people the love of folklore. She is constantly developing her workshops and skills, paying close attention to her cookie passions: painting on royal icing and portraits.

Remember: Site artists not only get their work featured prominently for a full month, but they also get profiled in a forum post (like this one) and in an in-depth Cookier Close-up interview. All considered, it's a lot of great free PR in exchange for photo sharing! When preparing your site art, please bear in mind that I already have artwork through June 2021 and also for September 2021, so I am specifically looking for art for July, August, October, November, and December 2021.
