Aha! I betcha thought I'd be posting the week's top 10 wedding cookies (after all, June is wedding month). Or the hottest Fourth of July cookies to celebrate that imminent holiday in my home country. But, noooo . . . I fooled you. This week, it's none of the above, and nothing teased on the Cookie Connection home page!
Because today marks the end of Cookie Connection's first month, I thought it fitting that we commemorate the past 3 to 4 weeks of the site's exciting, crazy-busy life by celebrating the ten hottest* cookies of the month! Hold onto your seats; each of these cookies amazes in its own unique way!
#1: Topping the list, undeniably for its striking detail, is Paisley Flower by Art & Honey.
#2: It was only a matter of time before De Koekenbakkers hit a top spot for her spectacular 3-D work - this time, it's Snoopy's Dog House!
#3: "Magical" sums up this month's third-place creation, Princess Cookies by Happy Loris Baking Company.
#4: And the fourth spot goes (coincidentally) to a fabulous 4-D cookie, complete with moving parts - Cookie Boxes and Chest by Vivi Ciak.
#5: "Wow" is the word for these fondant-covered Wedding Cakes by Tina at Sugar Wishes.
#6: This stylish cookie had many of us doing double-takes. Congrats to Au Claire de la Lune for Vintage Fashion.
#7: Simply called Flowers, our seventh place cookie set, crafted by two-time winner The Cookie Lab, speaks (boldly!) for itself.
#8: Another back-to-back winner, Ali's Sweet Tooth takes eighth for this incredibly lifelike set. Not sure if I should eat them or wear them!
#9: Spring Hippos (not to be confused with Summer Hippos 
) made a splash this month as well. Hoorah for Creative Cookies Belgrade!
#10: Last but not least, Creative Cookies Belgrade does it AGAIN, this time with elephants festooned with intricate details!
