Saturday Spotlight: Top 10 Fall Cookies Redux

Just two or three weeks ago, I was worried that I might have sprung fall cookies on you too soon. But now I'm wondering if I didn't start early enough! Given the abundant crop of autumn-inspired cookies posted to Cookie Connection in recent weeks, I could very well be highlighting this season into eternity!

While an expected cast of fall characters - leaves, pumpkins, goblins, ghouls, etc. - follows, each of this week's honorees ranks high because of its special element of surprise. You'll see unique cookie arrangements, complex combinations of techniques, sublime color palettes, and even cookies that beckon us to play before we eat. Enjoy, and congrats to this week's winners!

In fact, they are determined essentially by you, our members, and the activity (number of views, likes, and comments) you've bestowed on each photo. When I look at all these amazing cookies, I think "I will never be able to do this well"...but then I think, "SO WHAT! I am going to have fun trying!" I love seeing all the artistry in cookies showcased here and hope I can learn from them all..WHILE I am admiring them!
