Hi, 2024 cookie art competition entrants! Just a quick update to say that I have completed all of the feedback forms that were requested by the June 30 deadline! Hurrah! If you didn't get yours and think you requested it on time, please check your email junk box. If you can't find it (under the subject "Your Cookie Art Competition Feedback"), please email me (sweetlife@juliausher.com) as soon as possible, and I will happily re-send it.
I sincerely hope that all who have received and digested their feedback have found it valuable and that it spurs you to new heights in the 2025 competition and in your day-to-day cookie decorating. The process of compiling the feedback is a huge endeavor, so I would very much appreciate your feedback about what was valuable and what wasn't to you, so I can fine-tune the process for next time. Again, it was a true pleasure for me to see all of your creative entries, and I thank you all for participating!
Thanks as well to my wonderful judges for taking the time to write such extensive comments about each entry. Without their sage input, I wouldn't be able to provide the very detailed feedback for which this competition is known.
With the feedback task now done, I have officially wrapped up the 2024 competition season. I will be taking a few months off from further competition work to catch up on my own cookie and personal projects (and to just catch my breath). However, I aim to post information about the 2025 competition schedule by the end of 2024. All I can tell you right now is that it will once again be online, so please stay tuned for more information at that time.
I look forward to seeing all of your amazing work (and that of many others!) in the 2025 competition! Thanks again for pouring your hearts and souls into this year's competition! Your enthusiasm and ingenuity certainly showed!
