It’s Friday, and I just arrived at SoFlo Cake & Candy Expo where I’ll be presenting at the American Cake Awards on Saturday night. The place is abuzz with cookie friends who I haven’t seen in a very long time, so forgive me if this Spotlight is extra snappy! I have an imminent dinner reservation that I don’t want to miss!
Seeing as Orthodox Easter is a mere one week away, it seemed only fitting to feature @Tina at Sugar Wishes’ adorable bunny in our cover image. Congrats, Tina! Your creation is so very sweet! Just a few quick housekeeping notes before I call Uber to get me to tonight’s restaurant. Someone else made the res, so I’m not quite sure where I’m headed; I just hope we’re doing Cuban food, because it’s absolutely delicious here in Miami! But I digress . . .

Between the two of us, I dare say we answered just about every question imaginable. The learning that comes with entering my competition is immeasurable, and the prizes (a record-breaking $25,500!) are astronomical as well. Two very good reasons to enter . . . And, as I’ve said before, I encourage you to register even before your entry is ready, as getting an early read on the number of possible entrants helps me tremendously with planning the judging process.
