Well, after a very long fall season in St. Louis (my neighbor's golden gingko tree still had all of its leaves until last week), I can officially declare it's winter! I had to don triple layers today to manage my morning walk without frostbite. But, despite feeling as dumpy as the Michelin Man, nothing could quash my Christmas cheer. From the inflatable Santas and penguins in my neighbors' front yards to the wreaths dangling from doors and windows, this season's bounty of festive decorations never fails to buoy my spirits!
So what better way to conclude my walk than to grab a warm cup of cocoa and settle into perusing my most favorite Christmas decorations of all - the gorgeous cookies posted here on Cookie Connection!
Your mood is guaranteed to improve as well, just as soon as you see the many Christmas trees, snowmen, Santas, and snowflakes decking our halls (aka topping our hot list*) this week! Enjoy!

And that's all for this week! As the thermostat is supposed to get into the single digits this coming week, I'm off to invest in full-length Michelin Man-type attire (my mini parka just isn't cutting it). Though it'd probably be smarter - and certainly more fashionable - to move my morning walks to the well heated indoor track at my local gym!
So that no one has an unfair advantage in making it onto a hot list, the algorithm is secret even to site administrators. Only our platform developers know the code, which has been exhaustively tested by those developers and Cookie Connection staff.
