Wow! the shine on these cookies is amazing Gabi @Icingsugarkeks!! Did you use corn syrup or something else? Gelatin maybe? The fruit is so lifelike! You did such an awesome job creating this basket of fruit. Lots of detail in all but I especially like the bananas! Beautiful painting work my dear friend โค๏ธ. I'm sure your son loved them โค๏ธ

Oh Carol, Thanks for your wonderful words always! ๐ My son hasn't seen her yet.Tomorrow is his birthday. You like the banana as best? So different are the tastes, my cookie friend! I don't like the banana. I experimented a lot and I wanted the first icing to be "malleable" and that went completely wrong .... It was very brittle and difficult to paint. The bananas, orange slices and lemon slices are decorated with this icing. Thanks again dear Carol! โค๏ธ@Cookies Fantastique
Beautiful set and so vibrant @Icingsugarkeks. Wonderful job. Like so many othersโ I too am curious about the glossy finish.
So many Thanks Manuela, Filomena, Zeena, Chikako and Lisa!! โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ@MANUELA CANTร@Dolce Flo@Zeena@CHIKAKO.F@LisaF I tried a lot on these cookies. The shine of the oranges and lemons (in the middle) are an orange and a lemon candy. That seemed too fat and too dirty to me. The candy gets hard too quickly. For the shine of the kiwi fruit and strawberries, I used my "favorite ingredient" - gummy bears (colorless).
