Halloween for Piano Recital

Without my "assembly line" process with 3 airbrush guns and Julia's fabulous Halloween stencils @Julia M. Usher there's NO way I could have met the deadline for my lovely client . These were made for a Halloween piano recital (hence the keyboards ). Piano students composed their own pieces to be played at the recital and my client wanted to add something special by including a personalized cookie. As each composition focused around various Halloween themes (e.g. Mummies, Ghosts, Witches, Haunted House, Haunted Piano, Graveyard, Halloween cats, etc.) I added customized elements like the ghosts, piano keyboards, etc. in addition to their names. The timeline was short but my assembly line process completed the job on time to the delight of my client and ALL of her students. Yay!!!

There was a lot of opportunity for practicing my airbrush skills. Many of the colors I used mimiced Julia's as those colors were just what the client asked for...it was somewhat stressful given the timeline but I received rush charges to compensate! I'm learning how important it is to charge more appropriately for the additional work/time. Julia, thank you once again!! ❤️❤️ Hugs...

Oh my dear Carol, that is sooo great and fully on the topic and at the same time creepy!! In the first moment, I thought, that are Julia's cookies ... But then I recognized your "handwriting"! Namely at the purple background, at the keyboard and last but not least on the logo ...!

I had considered doing some original work (like the tombstone cookies) but knew that I'd never meet the deadline without an assembly line process. Julia's stencils have been so helpful time and time again. It felt weird "duplicating" Julia's work (though I could never really duplicate her fine touch).
