Starting with weird one! 2 pieces of my so different gingerbread house baked on real roof tile and actually roof is from 3 large gingerbread leaves painted green and sprinkled with podered sugar as snow.

One side I decided create Huge Santa starting with icing white base, after used straight spatula to spread red icing on .With pointed spatula I add photos later I applied on baking paper many small "Santa beard"dried a bit on 40degrees in oven appro 5 min.

In the meantime I created the face with royal icing, then nose and eyes which I dried separately in oven as well and on the end green cap and started to play as with puzzle

to assemble my Santa piece by piece. As decor used waferpaper and cut many winter design as you can see little girl ,chamois,2 cute rabbits and some trees,

On other side of house I stenciled some spruce trees some bricks on the curves door

From Fondant made 2020-21 year, bows and snowballs, cinnamon use as  "logs"decor

@Petra Florean I just love the classic Christmas/winter theme! I also like how you have combined so many different elements that blend together so seamlessly โ€“ the winter scene with the girl and the animals steals the show. What is the inspiration/meaning (rule 7) behind your design?

Thank you dear Christine @Sweet Prodigy .Actually my inspiration to make this kind of gingerbread house was my friend she' s creating from clay many kind of houses and that moment come idea to make something special for me why not bake 2 pieces on roof tile and after to create weird different gingerbread house.I thought that becouse until now creating only normal common gingerbread housesโค๏ธI didn't want to loose Christmas time meaning ,very important to me anyway..so one side of the house I dedicated to Santa with those in my opinion nice techniques, wanted a bit "like from clay look"I saw many icons like painted Santa on tile or on piece of wood.Wanted to change it my maybe "childish"way as on photo from pinterest and roof from leaves as fairy tale house pinterest picture but I choose to make just 3 large gingerbread leaves .If you asking why.. I have an answer...........there are some holes between leaves and when I blow out the candle inside the house smoke billows come trought those holesโค๏ธIsn't romantic too?

What about winter scenery?I am very CHILD and  dreamer even 2 days before I close my 46 years

love fairy tales and still watching and listening before we fall to sleep sometimes with my youngest son

and imagine many many when listening .โค๏ธWafer paper winter scenery is like cherry on piece of cake to me.Here where I live in Greece rarely snows, but we hope to see white Christmas

That is such a wonderful explanation, Petra @Petra Florean, and a perfect example of how you have so beautifully captured the spirit of Christmas and the holiday season. ๐ŸŽ…โค๏ธ
