This is another version of my project with royal icing water lilies and lily pads transfer: a lilypond cookie made with isomalt.

I posted the picture at the end of my June tutorial on Cookie Connection, but I just realized that I never posted it in the gallery of Cookie Connection. It could have been just a perfect entry (non-entry for me) for the current Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #30 - Crystal Clear, hosted here on Cookie Connection by @Bakerloo Station, but it is not a brand new original cookie (as it should, per rule of the challenge).

I built a vase with cookies (an oval cookie frame glued on an oval cookie), I piped the stems and attached the buds on the bottom of the vase. Then I poured isomalt and when it was dry I arranged the royal icing transfers (water lilies and lilypads) on top. The effect in person is really nice, too bad I couldn’t capture it in the picture...

@Manu biscotti decorati - I added it to the challenge clip set anyway, since it is a very good example of the use of isomalt. Because it is a non-entry (as you are a site contributor), it won't be "judged" anyway, so whether it is new is less important. All other "judged" entries should be new, however.

Thank you, @Julia M. Usher!

I am also working on a “brand new” non-entry though, just for the fun of participating and thinking outside the box 😊

Wow, beautiful! Love the color of your lilies ❣️❣️❣️, and your pond water is so clear 😁.

Thank you, Sonia @iSugarfy (aka swissophie). Who could imagine that I would have moved in a place where water lilies and lotus flowers are everywhere!

So gorgeous dear Manu @Manu biscotti decorati!! I just love the beautiful flowers with the lily pods and such an awesome idea to cover some of the buds with the isomalt! Your creativity just seems to grow and grow.

Absolutely fabulous ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Carol! I loved this project and experimenting! And it all started from the PBP Challenge “Circles” when I first made the water lilies transfers. This is how it developed.

I really love this lily pond. Amazing idea! Learned lots of techniques from you. You are so creative @Manu biscotti decorati

Thank you so much, @Kanch J! I have learned a lot from fellow cookiers since I signed up to this amazing site, so glad the same happened to you.

You KNOW how much I adore this project! This is a tutorial that I would really love to try out one of these days. The water effect created by the isomalt is absolutely stunning.

Thank you, Christine. Another project inspired by  one of your Challenges and an idea that kept developing.
