Too often in recent weeks, I've been posting our Saturday Spotlights on Sundays and using the "better late than never" excuse. Well, not this week! (Let me pause while everyone breathes a big sigh of relief . . .) Thanks to my husband who is celebrating a birthday this weekend that's taking us out of town, I had extra motivation to get this post done early before we hit the road. Twenty four hours from now, at the usual time for this post, he and I should be settled into a cozy little B&B, sipping champagne, with me wishing I had time to gift him with some gorgeous cookies like these . . .
Yes, once again, those on this week's hot list* have outdone themselves with everything from a stunning tile array to a whimiscal under-the-sea vignette. And, one member quite probably set the new Cookie Connection record for the most cookies featured (five!) in one of our Spotlights. A HUGE "way to go" in advance to that member: none other than the very prolific @Teri Pringle Wood!
Now, for this week's other honorees, listed in the order their cookies are currently trending on the site . . .
#1: Mediterranean Tile Cookies by La Shay by Ferda Ozcan
#2: Little Bunnies by Silviya Mihailova
#3: Lambs by Teri Pringle Wood
#4: Jeweled Eggs by Teri Pringle Wood
#5: Bubbles by Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.
#6: Easter in Bloom by Sweet Prodigy
#7: Bunny and Egg by Teri Pringle Wood
#8: Blue Egg by Teri Pringle Wood
#9: Spring Set by Anastasia - Peony Cookies
#10: Cupcakes for Easter by (You Guessed It!) Teri Pringle Wood
And that's a wrap for this week! Hopefully, I'll get on a more predictable posting schedule one day soon - until then, expect me to keep you on your toes!
So that no one has an unfair advantage in making it onto a hot list, the algorithm is secret even to site administrators. Only our platform developers know the code, which has been exhaustively tested by those developers and Cookie Connection staff.
