Game On, Cookie Artists! Casting for My 3-D Competition Has Begun!

Okay, if you've been on the fence about my 3-D cookie art competition, now's the time to jump off! Reminder: It's taking place this year at the Show Me Sweets show in St. Charles, Missouri (20 minutes or so from St. Louis) on July 13-14. A major TV network is turning the 3-D part into a TV documentary, and . . . casting for this TV special has officially started! I hope you'll join me for this landmark event by entering now!

IMPORTANT: THE CASTING COMPANY MUST RECEIVE ALL CASTING SUBMISSIONS BY MAY 1, AND, TO QUALIFY, ALL ENTRANTS MUST ALSO REGISTER FOR MY 3-D COMPETITION HERE: https://www.showmesweets.com/competition. For additional info about casting submissions, please read the poster below, including the very fine print!

NOW CASTING Cookie Art Comp 2019 v2

THOUGH OFFICIAL CASTING FOR FEATURED SPOTS WILL CONCLUDE ON MAY 1, the Show Me Show/my competition will be accepting registrants THROUGH JULY 1. The production company will be documenting the entire 3-D competition and many competitors and their work, so even if you miss the May deadline, you may still make it on TV. And, of course, all who enter have the chance to win $5000 (yes, $5000!) in prizes!

More info about BOTH my 3-D and 2-D cookie competitions here: https://www.showmesweets.com/cookiecompetition

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! THIS IS GOING TO BE EPIC! Thank you again, and, now, bring on your best!

Love your site & have ordered many of Cookie cutters. I'm pretty new to the cookie decorating, I've been decorating cakes as far back as I can remember but I've had to retire, I'm 61yrs old disabled and can't stand that long anymore, but since then God has opened another door for me to continue my craft, the gift He gave me I am COMPLETELY self taught, just me/ trial & error! So I'm not yet at the 3D stage, I am enjoying working at it though. With cookies I can continue my craft cause I can sit down!! 💖 I did make one 3D cookie and it turned out ok considering I had to make my own cookie stencil for the crate & my tiny heart cutter for the strawberries, it was for my daughter-n-law's Birthday! But I will keep on keeping on as long as I can! Thank you for creating this site 😊IMG_20190315_090820

Like I said, my first.... but not my last!

I am so glad you're enjoying the site, and the box looks great! Love the texture on it!

Sorry to bother. I'm still a bit confused on what we need to create. I had an idea in my head but now I read that I'm supposed to make a village or a town?  I'm blaming it on my English being as a 4th language.

Which category are you entering? There are different themes for 2-D and 3-D, but neither says anything as specific as a "you must make a village or town". The "Cookie Community" theme for the 2-D category might suggest that, but it's intended to be interpreted more broadly and creatively than that. Both theme descriptions can be found here under the cookie competition area on the Show Me Sweets site: https://www.showmesweets.com/rules. (They're also in the screen shot below.) These themes are meant to provide the framework for what you create, but they are very open-ended and are intended to be interpreted differently by different people. The less literal and more creative your interpretation, the better, IMO.
