With a mild fear of flying, I knew that it might not be easy to get on a plane to Salt Lake City . . . but as I come from New Jersey, driving was not an option for me.
Problem #1 - My flight was scheduled to leave at 6:30 am, so wake-up time was 4 am (!!) to get to the airport in time. After a quick shower and final check of my luggage and carry-on cookies, I loaded them in the car. As I sat in the front seat, my husband loaded his gear for work in the trunk, and we were off to the airport.
Problem #2 - We arrived at the airport around 5:30 am, all set for my flight, and I got out to unload my luggage and NO COOKIES!!! "Where is my cookie box?," I asked my husband; he just looked at me and said . . . "You're taking your cookie box?" He had unloaded it from the trunk at home . . . "I'll FedEx it to you," he said as he sped off so he could get to work.
IT IS A COOKIE CONFERENCE!! I have no cookies.
Problem #3 - I am now in Houston. The travel agent has booked me to Salt Lake City via Houston and Denver (my aunt lives there) . . . More flights . . .

Jennifer Wallace, aka jennibakes4u, is a Certified Wilton Method Instructor and has been decorating cakes for over 25 years.
