Hey, all! Thanks for your patience as you've waited for the next Close-up. I've had a rough couple of weeks with helping to pack up my mom's house to ready it for showings. She'll be moving nearer to me here in St. Louis, hopefully by year end, and the real estate agent who's listing her house was adamant that the 50 year's worth of clutter be removed from her counters and tabletops before the house is photographed next week. Needless to say, this task is huge - and quite difficult for one with emotional attachments to the clutter to do on her own. So, a week or so ago, I flew to Connecticut on short notice to assist my mom. We made great progress last week, but there's still a lot more to do. Fortunately, we've now lined up a professional organizer who will hopefully ease the load and get the rest of the clutter under control. On top of this recent trip to the East Coast, I've been combing my new site for glitches, fixing lingering trouble spots, and optimizing its views on multiple devices, all before I announce its launch. It's amazing how much detail is involved with the optimization task . . . My eyes are weary from relentless computer screen-viewing! Anywho, keep your eyes peeled for my site announcement. (Hint: It's coming very soon!)
Enough about me! (I just wanted you to know why I haven't been very present here, or anywhere online for that matter . . .) Let's talk about YOU and your wonderful posts this past week.
