What another week it has been. I completely agree with Julia's post from last week regarding the abundance of troubling issues worldwide and what we can be doing to help. I'll refrain from too much repetition or focus on negativity. Just know that if you are suffering, struggling, or challenged in any way, you are not alone. Thoughts and prayers are with you, much more than you may realize. Though Cookie Connection cannot solve all of the world's problems, we can provide a supportive community and a safe space to celebrate one another. So keep sharing your creations with us! No one will ever say "no" to a daily dose of sweetness! How's that for the perfect segue into looking at the deliciousness on this week's hot list*?! 😉

A big congratulations to all of the honorees, including @Heather Bruce Sosa and @Stevie Jean for sharing their entries in Watch-Learn-Create Challenge #58, which, BTW, is still open for entries. Heads up: A little bird (by the name of Julia 😉) told me that the entry deadline has been extended to February 9 to allow more time after the busy holidays to create! Also, a shout-out to @Icingsugarkeks for being this week's cover artist and to @EAC, @Padu Oliveira, @SugarArt, @Gingerland, and @Bakerloo Station for their recognitions this week.
If you're looking for an excuse to spend an entire day on cookies and creativity, why don't you join me for Julia's Heart's Desire Zoom class on February 8? If you've never attended one of Julia's online classes, you're in for a real treat. Plus, it's currently Early Bird reg time, which means the class is 15% off. [EDITOR'S NOTE: Thanks for the plug, Lisa! Pssst, everyone else, my class also allows you to meet the wonderful @LisaF, as she acts as my technical support and righthand woman throughout the event! Both of us would love to see you there! And, remember, if you can't make the live class, every bit is recorded, and all students get forever-access to that recording! ~JMU]
Until next time, stay safe and keep sharing!
