The early bird gets the worm, as they say - or that's my hope anyway! Between our live chat tomorrow with @Anne Yorks (10 am central, don't forget!) and my ongoing prep for shows and classes, I have a super busy Saturday and so wanted to post this Spotlight before I got lost to cookie baking. Plus, an early Friday post might even give you enough time to try some of these designs for parties and picnics over the weekend!
As you'll see, this week's hot list* certainly has no shortage of possibilities for almost any summertime fête. If you're thinking "laid-back tropical", @Dolce Flo has you covered. If you're craving cookies masquerading as fair food, both @Kim Damon and @kns93 have served up some super sweet ideas. And, if sophisticated soirée is more your style, then look no further than our cover image by the very talented @Ewa Kiszowara MOJE PIERNIKI. Who wouldn't want to "rock" those pendants (pun intended) at a swanky poolside cocktail party?! Plus, there's additional fabulosity I haven't even touched on here . . .
So let's move on to all of the week's top-trenders, shall we?!
#1: Scent of Summer . . . Tiaré by Dolce Flo
#2: Quinceañera Cookies by Gaby Rodríguez
#3: A Mermaid and Her Fish by Ines Doherty
#4: All Things Fairy by Doshia Freeman

Congrats to this week's honorees! Have a terrific weekend, everyone, and here's hoping that some of these magical cookies make it into your upcoming events!
So that no one has an unfair advantage in making it onto a hot list, the algorithm is secret even to site administrators. Only our platform developers know the code, which has been exhaustively tested by those developers and Cookie Connection staff.
