Happy weekend, everyone! My apologies in advance for being terse, but it's been a whirlwind couple of weeks, and I'm exhausted. When my 3-D competition filming wrapped on July 14, I had one day to pack my bags and hit the road again. Since then, I've been to Connecticut, Maine, and back to Missouri again. And, in less than two week's time, I return to Australia for another teaching trip! I've (sadly) gotten in the habit of never completely unpacking my suitcase. I simply rotate clothes through it, substituting long sleeves for short sleeves and vice versa, as the weeks and months and seasons pass. (Yeah, for real!)
Anyway, now's as good a time as any for a quick cookie fix, and so here I am, at 11:30 pm, just putting my fingertips to keyboard to start this Spotlight! But, no matter how tired I might be, reviewing the week's work is like chugging several cups of high-octane coffee. It's always eye-opening and invigorating! Kudos to this week's honorees. Your work is so well done.
First up is @Evelindecora with the same set that won her top honors last week. Congrats, Evelin, on your cookies' staying power!

And that's all for now. I'm off to get some ZZZZs, but I'll be back next week at the appointed time with the first part of a two-part series featuring the 2-D and 3-D winners of my cookie art competition! Very exciting!
