We're still three weeks away from trick-or-treaters descending on Webster Groves (my little Midwest suburb), and only a few of my neighbors' homes have taken on their usual spooky garb for Halloween, but you Cookie Connection cookiers are no slackers! We've been inundated this week with Halloween cookies of every ilk, including several donations to the annual Go Bo! Foundation Bake Sale. (Please read about that very noble cause, and how you can contribute, here.) On today's hot list*, we've got jack-o-lanterns, ghouls, goblins, spiders, witch paraphernalia . . . well, just about every creepy cookie you could imagine! If I haven't succeeded in scaring you off with that description , then please read on . . . you'll find lots of spook-tacular cookie inspiration in the photos that follow.

So that no one has an unfair advantage in making it onto a hot list, the algorithm is secret even to site administrators. Only our platform developers know the code, which has been exhaustively tested by those developers and Cookie Connection staff.
