Yes, it's almost Mom's big day, so if you haven't yet come up with a wonderful gift for her, there's no time like the present! If you're ambitious, you'll find plenty of inspiration for wonderful cookie gifts in this week's hot list*, including buckets of pansies, floral tea bags, smiley faces full of sunshine, and an abundance of gorgeous roses.
Okay, granted, it's a little too late to whip up one of these masterpieces and have it all neatly tied up with a bow by tomorrow. 
But don't despair! A lot of my best mother-daughter moments happened in the kitchen, making cookies. The end results weren't always pretty, and the process was usually far from neat (the icing more often landed on us than on the cookies). But the shared time together was the best gift we could have given each other!

So, go grab your mom tomorrow, along with your favorite bits of inspiration from this Spotlight, and focus on making the most important thing: memories. If you're lucky enough to create a masterpiece or two along the way, then that's just icing on the cake (or the cookie, in this case)!
