For A Mom That Loves Flowers

After our most recent Challenge #41 where the focus was on creating flowers that appear more 3D in nature, this set of floral cookies was made for a woman who loves flowers . So often I find opportunities to use Julia's stencil sets! In this instance, I used one of her message cut out pieces to create a void in the stenciled cookie so that I could write the Happy Birthday Mom message. These different shapes and sizes come in handy so often!! Many thanks once again Julia for your ingenuity!!

The needlepoint area on the left side was inspired by Nadia, #mylittlebakery, in her video "How to Decorate Floral Heart Cookie" https://www.youtube.com/watch?...mp;feature=emb_title. She used the same technique of creating the needlepoint design on a grid on the side of her cookie (with a knock-off of the grid mat that was originally co-designed by Michelle Hester, creator of SugarVeil at https://www.sugarveil.com/sugarveil-needlepoint-mat, and our own Julia @Julia M. Usher!)

Flowers are coming up everywhere these days in my home business. LOL ❤️

Oh dear Gabi, your kind words are so utterly uplifting . I'm really glad you like these. Not for my mom. LOL. For another order that came in and I was rushed to complete it in time. I see SO many errors!! But as long as the client is happy then so am I ❤️. The flowers here didn't meet the requirements for Challenge #41 which is why I hadn't included the set. These cookies were fun to make and did present some new challenges...especially the lotus flower. I hope you are well sweet friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...

Lisa, you are so very kind @LisaF!! Thank you my dear friend . I really appreciate what you said about the different techniques I used. I try to keep things varied because I get bored when I make the same thing over and over again. LOL. This is a very important downside to making money with my business! Repetition and simple designs make the orders go much faster. BUT, they're not nearly as fun for me. I kick myself for spending too much time that cuts into my "profit" margin big time. However, I always prefer the results and it seems like my clients are happy with their orders too. Oh, that's what counts!!! Hugs...❤️❤️❤️

How beautiful and lovely!  Stencil, SugarVeil lace, flowers on cookies, piped flowers... so many techniques, absolutely gorgeous.  I wish I could get this set 😘but I am not Carol's Mom.....

Oh, Carol 😍 The upper right one, the color and pattern look like Kimono,  especially pretty.   I always like colors you choose.
