After a week at my seaside home-away-from-home in Maine (see idyllic scenes of the Penobscot Bay below 
), I had one logical choice for this week's cover image - and that is "Seagull by the Bay" by @Petra Florean! As I sit in the Bangor Airport awaiting my flight back to Missouri, looking at Petra's image makes me feel a little less melancholy because it's as if I'm taking a part of my beautiful island retreat back to the midwest with me. Congrats, Petra, on your wonderful stained glass creation and for earning our cover spot this week!
And, of course, congrats to all of our other honorees on this week's hot list*. As is usually the case with cookies, most of the following creations are expressions of love - gifts intended to be shared with moms, both new and old, and their children. It's really quite an endearing collection, as I think you'll agree! Oh, and special congrats to both @Dita and @Ewa Kiszowara MOJE PIERNIKI for multiple mentions this week. Well done, you two!
