From the looks of this week's Spotlight, everyone on the site seems to have moved without any hesitation right from Halloween and directly on to Christmas! And what glorious holiday cookies we have on this hot list*! Thanks to your likes, comments and views over the past week, and our site algorithms which automatically tally the fastest trending cookies, Christmas is high on the charts, as you can see.
But, I have to confess, I'm just not ready to go there yet. I'd like to slow down all of the commercialism and superfluous pumping up of holiday purchases that no one really needs, and focus instead on family, friends, and real-life interactions that will truly matter in the end. So while I love all of the wondrous holiday cookies that you see below, some of which were posted recently and others much longer ago, I choose to cling tightly to autumn a bit longer, not only in my non-cookie life, but also in this week's cover image selection!
