Two years ago, I took my first trapeze class and fell head-over-heels in love with flying. Jumping off a small board into the great unknown changes you. It broadens your ideas of who you can be and lets you reinvent yourself as someone stronger, more fearless, more trusting. When you are able to defy something as fundamental as gravity, it fills you with a certainty that you can do far more than you ever imagined possible. I never imagined anyone would pay me for my cookies, but flying trapeze gave me the courage to take the leap and start my own custom decorated sugar cookie business. Now Sugar Pixie Sweets is soaring in ways I never expected. Trapeze artist, cookie artist....either way, you just have to take a risk and see what happens.
