If there’s one thing my current trip to my childhood home in Connecticut is teaching me, it’s that I’m way too overreliant on high-speed wifi! I can’t upload photos to my video team without it; I can’t review videos or post them without it; and, worst of all, I can’t post Saturday Spotlights without it! After alternately cursing my computer for its internet connection errors and my Luddite-of-a-mom for refusing to ever invest in decent wifi, I decided to abandon all internet work yesterday and focus on catching up with family and friends – which, after all, was the reason for my trip to Connecticut in the first place! Plus, I needed time to figure out where and when to get my high-speed fix!
I eventually found it, downtown, about 20 minutes from home in the local Panera, which is where I'm now sitting, reviewing the week’s gorgeous cookies! Thankfully, the connection is strong and secure, so I can soak up all of their beauty without any interruption! I apologize for the delay in posting, but better late than never as they say! Enjoy - and congrats to all!

P.S. I will be on home turf in Missouri next weekend, so the Spotlight should go as normally scheduled! However, I plan to change up the Spotlight a bit over the next couple of weeks to showcase the winners in my 2-D and 3-D cookie competitions. So stay tuned for that - you're going to see some very cool stuff and hear from some very cool competitors!
