Hi, gang! It's time again for spotlighting the stand-out cookies on the site! And, boy, do we have some true stand-outs this week, including cookies from first-time (and also two-time) honorees @Patricia Johnson and @Cláudia Dmytriw Pichek. Special congrats to these newcomers to our hot list*! 
As is typical at this transitional time of year between summer and fall, we've got cookies that run the gamut from summer-y Chinoiserie-style vases to Halloween cookie arrays (one of which earned our coveted cover spot)! Lest you think it's too early for Halloween, let me be the first to assure you that it's not. I've been designing Halloween stencil sets for the last two months, and am in the middle of putting the finishing touches on my August release which is squarely in the Halloween camp! (After all, we cookiers need time to plan for one of the biggest cookie holidays of the year, wouldn't you agree?!)

I hope to see you here at the same time next week, but a bit of forewarning: my top-secret cookie project reaches its workload crescendo at the end of this month and into early September.
