This is my second entry to Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #44 (Stringwork)
This time I made smaller cookies than my first one.
1 I colored the center of my square cookies (8 x 8 cm) with brush and template I cut out from paper.
2 I piped with light gray colored icing on the paper that has the guide for straight lines.
The design of second and third photos is different. Since I wanted to compare which design I like more.
3 Green piping
Following 2 photos are taken from different angles.
**** Following was added on Feb. 18th ****
How I got the idea
While I was learning "itokake mandala", I also learned triangle and square can be combined to make design.
To make complicated looking design, I was thinking something complicated but easy pattern could be pretty! I thought. Drawing lines this way and that way, I noticed this would be a flower.
**** Feb 20 ****
Why I chose square..... The floor of the swimming pool I go is covered by square tiles and I see them a lot.
π±π±π±π±π±Ryoko, this is amazing!!!! Congratulations on your masterpiece, really gorgeous work, dear friend. Thanks for all the detailed pics too.π₯°

Cookies surely make us happier! The challenges make me notice what I didn't pay attention much and make me interested in colors, techniques, traditions, cultures, arts, food and more.
Not only me but also there are so many who are looking forward to your beautiful cookies, Carol.
