Spring is definitely in high gear in my neighborhood. The signs are everywhere. It's not just the Easter decorations or the blossoming trees. It's also . . . my allergies! My watering eyes have become just as expected as the daffodils. All are currently in full bloom.
As you'll see, the creativity of our cookiers is also in full bloom. This week's hot list* is overflowing with spring and Easter inspiration!
#1: Peacock by Elizabeth B. (This gorgeous guy isn't only a stunner; he's also a big one! The cookie is 14 inches in diameter. Also, special congrats to @Elizabeth B. for her first appearance in one of our Spotlights. She certainly made a grand entrance, didn't she?!)
#2: Easter Bunny by Mari Katagiri (Beautiful and elegant, this 3-D project is the perfect blend of Easter and spring, which is why it's such a suitable cover image this week. Congrats on earning that coveted spot, @Mari Katagiri!)
#3: Spring Easter by Dani Matos (@Dani Matos said that she had some extra biscuits that she "just decorated for fun". What a creative addition.)
#4: Happy Easter by Jani May Cookies (A delightful set!)
#5: Colourful Easter by Heather Bruce Sosa (@Heather Bruce Sosa used all kinds of techniques to decorate her eggs. What a beautiful batch!)
#6: Dinosaur Cookies by Art of Cookies (I love the colors that @Art of Cookies selected for these cute beasts.)
#7: Easter Cookies by Gingerland (Thanks to all of your views, comments, and likes, this week marks the second Spotlight for this set. Congratulations, @Gingerland!)
#8: Project Cookie "Puzzle" by Cookies Fantastique (Creative and fun, @Cookies Fantastique's creation is already perfectly plated!)
#9: Peter Rabbit's Garden by Zeena (This adorable ode to Peter Rabbit is filled with springtime cheer.)
#10: Easter Cookie Platter by Vero (Very Vero) (I love the eyes on these cuties.)
That completes the basket of inspiration for this week. I hope you enjoy this Easter weekend, Passover, or whatever you choose to celebrate. May it be filled with sweet treats, springtime joy, and a chance or two to smell the flowers. In my case, that last one requires a refill of my allergy medication!😂
Congratulations to everyone who was featured!
