Hi, all! It's that time again when we celebrate the ten top-trending cookies on the site this past week! Since it's nearly Sunday (yikes!), I'm going to keep this Saturday Spotlight intro brief and to the point! My apologies. Deadlines for my monthly stencil release, new personal website, and new product lines are all hitting me at once, and my normal work has taken a bit of a hit. (Yes, juliausher.com is now about 12 years old and nearly broken, so it is getting overhauled as we speak. And I'm in the midst of developing two new product/service lines with international partners. It's too soon for any sneak peeks into any of these projects, but all of them have been in the works since early to mid 2020, so, suffice it to say, I'm hoping they'll come to fruition very soon . . .)

Anywho, back to the matter of gorgeous cookies! This week's hot list* certainly has plenty of them for you. Created by first-time Spotlightees (like @Bake Queens and @Crafty Enginerd) and veterans alike, they all are sure to delight!

* As a reminder, a word about how the rankings are determined: The rankings are not at all subjective. In fact, they are determined essentially by you, our members, and the activity (number of views, likes, and comments) you've bestowed on each photo. The site uses a top-secret algorithm that weighs these various factors to determine which photos are trending most quickly (i.e., are the "hottest") over specified periods of time.
