Saturday Spotlight: Top 10 Cookies

Spring means different things to different people. For some, it's the change in temperature. For others, it's the holidays, ceremonies, and familial celebrations. Last, but certainly not least, there are the flowers. Buds, blossoms, and bouquets are everywhere.

I mention all of this because this week's hot list* is a salute to so many different aspects of spring, all of which provide boundless inspiration and so much to appreciate. Let's have a look . . .

#1: Bloom! by Bakerloo Station (This set is so springtime-perfect that Julia and I decided to feature it as this week's cover art. I just love its exuberant colors and abundance of flowers in so many styles!)

#2: Easter Gift Set by Cookies Fantastique (Pure delight sums up this Easter set. I can't pick my favorite cookie, can you? Well done, @Cookies Fantastique.)

#3: Japanese Wedding Kimono by coco.icingcookie (This week marks the second time that this clip has appeared in our Spotlight. Congratulations, @coco.icingcookie!)

#4: Mandala Cookies by Evelindecora (This beauty first appeared six years ago and is understandably trending once again. It would be a perfect addition to any springtime celebration, wouldn't it?! Amazing, @Evelindecora.)

#5: Lady Butterfly by iSugarfy (aka Swisssophie) (Another oldie that is still as mesmerizing as when it was first posted, this piece was a challenge entry, and, fortunately for us, @iSugarfy (aka swissophie) shared all sorts of details about its creation. #6: Kaleidoscope by Manu biscotti decorati (Yet another old post and challenge entry that continues to captivate us. And, like iSugarfy (aka Swisssophie), @Manu biscotti decorati shares plenty of technique details under her post to help us learn and grow.)

#7: It's a Springtime Birthday Celebration by EAC (This set is the perfect salute to a springtime birthday. Delightful, @EAC!)

#8: Flowers by Yazz Ross (@Yazz Ross has shown us a creative blend of love and whimsy in this Mother's Day collection.)

#9: 3-D Baby Cradle Cookies by Julia M. Usher (Another blast from the past by none other than @Julia M. Usher! Everything about these 3-D cuties makes me smile.)

#10: Pedal Time by Cláudia Dmytriw Pichek (The colors that @Cláudia Dmytriw Pichek uses here are so striking. And let's not overlook the impressive piped lettering!)

I know that I can personally get carried away with everything I need, want, or have to do. It's easy to miss the moments of seasonal beauty. I hope this Spotlight gave you an opportunity to relax for a few moments and enjoy the sweetness of spring.

I also hope everyone has a safe week ahead and finds plenty of reasons to celebrate the season.
